Fund Accounting Associate

Our client is a privately held family office that manages a diversified portfolio of investments across public and private markets. The firm oversees long-term capital allocation, financial planning, and operational support for the family’s assets, with a focus on risk management and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements; Reconcile cash, positions, and transactions across internal systems and custodian records; Support the calculation of NAVs, investor allocations, management fees, and performance fees; Maintain general ledgers and support journal entry preparation and review; Prepare supporting schedules for audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting; Coordinate with administrators, auditors, and other third-party service providers; Assist with investor reporting, capital activity processing, and maintaining investor records; Participate in process improvements, systems enhancements, and ad-hoc projects

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; 1-2 years of experience in public audit or tax partnerships; CPA or parts passed; Strong understanding of GAAP and fund structures; Proficiency in Excel
