Are you hands-on, mechanically inclined, and motivated by face-to-face customer interactions? Do you enjoy solving problems, working with tools, and earning great pay by helping customers choose the right solutions for their home?

At Garage Pros , we’re looking for a Garage Door Technician – Sales & Service Professional to join our growing team. This unique role blends mechanical expertise with in-home consultative sales . You won’t just diagnose and fix problems — you’ll also educate homeowners, recommend upgrades, and close the sale on the spot.

Pay Range

$70,000 - $200,000 USD

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and install residential garage doors and openers.; Meet with homeowners in person, build trust, and present tailored solutions.; Upsell products and services based on customer needs.; Complete 4–5 pre-scheduled appointments daily (all leads provided).; Ensure a professional, safe, and positive customer experience every time.

Requirements

Mechanical / Construction experience (carpentry, HVAC, electrical, general building, or similar trades).; Strong communication and sales skills with a track record of upselling or closing deals.; Great driving record, clean background, and ability to pass a drug screen.; Comfort lifting 50 lbs overhead and working with tools.; Reliability, professionalism, and a team-first mindset.
