General Assembler 1

Assembler 1, General for a manufacturing facility in Durham, NC. This role requires mechanical aptitude and involves fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices on 1st Shift. 2 positions available.

Responsibilities

Perform fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging tasks; Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment; Conduct quality inspections on the processing line per quality specifications; Work within clearly defined SOPs and adhere to quality guidelines; Communicate effectively with coworkers and Team Lead/Supervisor; Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed; Work flexible/overtime hours when requested due to business needs

Requirements

0 to 5 years of relevant experience; Zero (0) to one (1) year of manufacturing assembly experience required; Solid work history of at least 1–2 years with a previous employer required (no frequent job changes); Mechanical aptitude; Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English; Basic math calculation skills; Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes; Good attention to detail; Ability to work well in a team environment; High School Diploma or GED required; Must have reliable transportation; Background check must be completed before starting; Able to lift or move at least 50 lbs occasionally; Willing to work flexible/extended hours as needed
