Global Network and Operations Executive

The Global Network & Operations Executive plays a crucial supportive role in ensuring the seamless execution of global campaigns and operational excellence for our SONY PlayStation client across WPP Media's extensive network. Reporting directly to the Global Network & Operations Manager, this role is central to coordinating deliverables, monitoring compliance with global standards, and driving the adoption of strategic tools like WPP Open. The Executive will be instrumental in identifying and supporting initiatives to improve media planning and execution practices, managing key communication platforms, and generating vital performance insights to showcase our global impact. Responsibilities

Assist in project managing the process and delivery of local planning deliverables for global SONY PlayStation campaigns; Support communication of global campaign timelines and key deliverables to local EssenceMediacom teams; Monitor and report on local markets' adherence to globally set delivery schedules; Conduct initial checks on quality and accuracy of local market work and data outputs; Support research and analysis for improving media planning and execution practices; Contribute to implementation of new processes and tools; Ensure local adoption and best practice utilization of WPP Open tools; Provide support and guidance to local market teams on WPP Open functionalities; Take primary responsibility for development and management of internal community portals; Curate, organize, and maintain content and resources within portals; Provide hands-on support in establishment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of local teams; Assist with onboarding new EM teams; Help address operational queries and troubleshoot minor issues; Develop and produce Global Roll-ups, Post-Campaign Analysis, and aggregated reports; Check global planning system for data accuracy and govern local market planning inputs; Assist in troubleshooting data reporting issues; Build effective working relationships with local teams and key internal stakeholders; Support wider Network and Operations team duties; Assist in preparing for internal meetings and calls

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced media agency, marketing, or global operations environment; Proven ability to work effectively in a global context with diverse cultures and languages; Experience with or a strong understanding of media planning, execution, and reporting systems (e.g., WPP Open, Campaign Manager, media buying platforms); Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously; Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail, particularly in data accuracy checking and report generation; A self-starter with a natural curiosity, eager to learn and proactively identify solutions to challenges; Strong awareness of the digital media landscape, operational processes, and willingness to become proficient in relevant tools and systems (e.g., WPP Open, Campaign Manager); Ability to work collaboratively, maintaining patience and calm with colleagues under pressure; Ability to contribute to and prepare clear, concise presentations and reports; UK based role with the right to work in this location
