Graduate Operations Executive

HIVED is building the UK's first 100% electric parcel delivery network, and we're looking for the next generation of leaders to grow with us. As part of our Graduate Operations Executive Programme from day one you will own real problems, drive real decisions, and sit at the heart of a business that is fundamentally changing how logistics works. This programme is designed as a springboard into both operations and the wider business.

Responsibilities

3 weeks onboarding and shadowing; Hit the ground running with a structured introduction to HIVED; Undertake a ride-along with one of our drivers; Shadow each of our operational teams; Spend dedicated time with our AI and Automation Squad; 4 months in Ops Run running the day-to-day operation in depots, supporting shift leads, tracking live performance, solving operational fires and customer support; 4 months in Central Ops process design, SOP creation, data analysis, continuous improvement projects; 4 months in Network / SIO modelling capacity, helping plan route and depot network changes, supporting scaling initiatives

Requirements

You’re graduating in 2026 (or graduated in 2024/25 and are ready for your next move); You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and don't wait to be told what to do; You’re a natural problem solver, you see a broken process and immediately want to fix it; You’re comfortable experimenting with tools like AI assistants, Zapier, Airtable, Make or similar to automate repetitive work and make teams more effective; You’re motivated by a mission and the opportunity to disrupt an industry; You’re collaborative to your core, but not afraid to push back when you see a better way; You have a track record of going above and beyond in work, study or life e.g. building something from scratch, leading teams, balancing demanding commitments, or driving change in an organisation; You have real-world work experience (internships, part-time work, societies, your own projects) where you’ve taken responsibility and delivered outcomes; You have strong analytical capability and are comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets and data-backed decision making
