Hardware Delivery Lead

Halter is a phase of incredible expansion with hardware right at our core. Delivery is a new function dedicated to helping engineers and technical teams across Halter do their best work. The role is responsible for making sure the right people are in the room as projects are discussed, keeping projects on track, highlighting risks, stripping away unnecessary processes, and ensuring projects move at maximum velocity across all hardware and operations teams. Success is measured by delivery of projects into mass production.

Responsibilities

Coordinate delivering projects across current and future hardware programs; Build and maintain strong relationships across hardware design, firmware, reliability, production, operations, and supply chain teams; Lead programs with a lightweight delivery cadence; Drive clarity on the state of projects and next steps; Surface trade-offs early so decision-makers can move fast; Ensure engineering builds happen on time and remove blockers during build execution; Make sure projects move into mass production

Requirements

Experience driving complex hardware products from development through to production across cross-functional teams; Hardware engineering experience; A mindset for urgency; A knack for clear communication; Willingness to travel to Asia; Experience in factory environments and influencing suppliers to achieve fast results; Openness to wearing multiple hats; Low ego and comfortable with discomfort
