Head of Finance Business Partnering

Our client is a well-established housing organisation undergoing an exciting period of organisational transformation. They are seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance Business Partnering to play a key role in providing strategic financial leadership across operational and leadership services. This is an interesting opportunity to influence change at a senior level, working closely with a range of stakeholders during a pivotal period for the organisation.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic finance business partnering across operational services, including Repairs, Maintenance and wider Operations; Deliver high-quality financial insight, analysis and commercial challenge to support informed business decisions and operational performance; Support elements of the management accounts process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls; Build effective relationships with senior operational leaders, acting as a trusted financial adviser during a significant period of organisational change; Support the design and development of the future Finance Business Partnering function as integration progresses, helping establish team structure, processes and best practice

Requirements

Proven experience operating at Head of Finance Business Partnering level or within a senior finance leadership position in social housing; Strong commercial finance and business partnering experience, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across operational functions; Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent); Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment; Relevant experience from a social housing background
