Head of Pricing

Fever, the world's leading tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a pricing domain expert to take pricing management to the next level across business optimisation and live entertainment sectors that require bespoke solutions. The role is a builder role: the Head of Pricing will set the direction for pricing approaches across sectors such as concerts, exhibitions, live sports, game centres and theme parks, working day to day with data science, engineering and business teams. The data team already runs end-to-end pricing systems, including price structures, initial pricing, adaptive pricing control loops and AI-based tiering.

Responsibilities

Own the pricing solutions vision and roadmap that make Fever the leading platform for pricing across live entertainment sectors and types of experience; Define the portfolio of pricing solutions each sector needs (price structures, levers, algorithms) and when each one applies; Extend pricing into new sectors and experiences with a repeatable approach covering what to optimise for, constraints, and how trade-offs are agreed with business owners; Be the reference point on pricing for commercial, partnerships and marketing, and explain pricing strategy to critical stakeholders; Work closely with data science on demand and elasticity questions, challenging how models are built and whether answers hold up in the real business; Shape how Fever experiments with price, including what to test, how to measure it, how to read results when clean comparisons are not possible, and what must be true before a change goes live; Set the standard for transparency and fairness in pricing, working with legal and commercial teams

Requirements

Deep expertise in pricing or revenue optimisation in a consumer business, with a track record of accountable decisions that produced successful outcomes; Real analytical depth across main pricing approaches (elasticity estimation, demand forecasting, constrained optimisation, bandits, causal methods), with the ability to read estimates critically and distinguish robust results from fragile ones; Experience shaping pricing products or solutions, deciding what they should do and getting them built; Experience pricing across more than one business model, product type or market, with judgement on what can be adapted and what must be rebuilt; Understanding that pricing is empirical and fluency in experimentation, including what a test can and cannot prove and what evidence should be enough to change a price; Ability to hold a position under commercial pressure and explain a pricing strategy to people who did not design it

Nice to have

Experience pricing perishable inventory (events, travel, hospitality, attractions or similar); Hands-on technical and scientific experience to interrogate and answer key business optimisation pricing questions; Exposure to consumer pricing transparency and fairness regulation
