We’re looking for highly-skilled craftsman who can “do it all” while taking excellent care of our customers.

Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Making recommendations and managing customer expectations about scope and costs; Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience; Following the Mr. Handyman Way; Encouraging customers to complete satisfaction surveys; Finding additional ways to be of service to the customer; Invoicing appropriately, sourcing materials, and collecting payment; Documenting the job; Asking for reviews and collecting payments

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 5+ years experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: carpentry, bathroom improvements, kitchen improvements, painting inside and out, drywall work, general plumbing and electrical where allowed by law, floor installation and refurbishing, familiar with building codes; Ability to self-manage; Ability to provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Have necessary tools including ability to use technology; Document the job while following the Mr. Handyman Way; Wear proper PPE and booties
