Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers; Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience and following the My Handyman Way; Encouraging customers to complete satisfaction surveys; Meeting revenue targets by finding additional ways to be of service; Invoicing appropriately, sourcing needed materials, and collecting payment; Maintaining high customer satisfaction response and satisfaction rates; Completing work correctly the first time to maintain recall percentage

Requirements

Live within the area we service from Wells Maine to Nashua New Hampshire; Have 8+ years' experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of: carpentry work, bathroom improvements, kitchen improvements, painting inside and out, drywall work minor and major repairs, general plumbing and electrical where allowed by law, floor installation and refurbishing, familiar with building codes; Self-manage as often alone; Provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Have necessary tools including ability to use technology; Document job while following the Mr. Handyman Way; Wear proper PPE and booties to protect customer's home; Listen and learn, then apply skills within framework of our system; Have an abundance mindset; Be coachable without taking offense to critiques; Strong communication skills that start with listening; Own your actions and be accountable when things go sideways
