Host - Uberto Restaurant at Quercus

Quercus is a luxury destination hotel and culinary experience set on 4,000 acres in Gay, Georgia. As the only Relais & Châteaux property in the state, Quercus offers an intimate, all-inclusive stay centered on exceptional service, nature, seasonal cuisine, and a deep sense of place.
At the heart of the property is Uberto, Quercus’s restaurant where guests enjoy an elevated tasting menu experience led by Michelin starred chef Ryan Smith.
Uberto’s service style is warm, polished, and detail-oriented, designed to complement a dynamic culinary program rooted in seasonality, craft, and storytelling. Team members in the restaurant play an important role not only in the dining experience, but also in the broader hospitality operations of the property, helping create seamless and memorable stays for each guest.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:; Warmly welcome and escort guests through the Uberto dining experience, providing personalized introductions and recognizing special occasions, returning visitors, and individual preferences.; Manage restaurant reservations and guest communications through Resy and other communication platforms, including phone calls, emails, inquiries, and reservation modifications.; Maintain accurate and detailed guest profiles, documenting preferences, allergies, special occasions, and other relevant information to enhance current and future dining experiences.; Coordinate guest arrivals, seating, and reservation timing with restaurant managers and service staff to ensure a seamless flow of service.; Prepare and organize menus, reservation details, special occasion amenities, and other personalized touches prior to each service.; Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming reception area while assisting with guest belongings and providing attentive departure service.; Support the broader front-of-house team with service preparation, dining room upkeep, table resets, and other hospitality responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a host, guest relations, or front-of-house hospitality position preferred.; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a naturally warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor.; Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate guest needs.; Ability to multitask effectively, manage guest requests, and remain composed in a fast-paced service environment.; Strong written communication and computer skills, with the ability to learn and navigate reservation and guest management systems.; Ability to work collaboratively with restaurant management and service staff while maintaining discretion and professionalism.; Availability for evening and weekend shifts.; Strongly preferred: Experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality establishments.
