Housekeeper

Oaks Brisbane River City Suites is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with a casual opportunity now available. We’re looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities

Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment; Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company; Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals; Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards; Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively, with all training and tools provided; Build strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards; Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided); Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods; Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors; Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently; A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic; Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays; Working rights within New Zealand

Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles
