Housekeeper

In the role of Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

Maintaining the Community interior, including residents’ apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion and in a courteous and friendly manner; Providing general housekeeping for the Community and individual resident apartments; Providing deep cleaning of apartments as needed; Laundering all linens; Following Company sanitation and safety procedures; Greeting residents and guests at each table to serve beverages, cereals, and/or soups/salads; Reviewing the menu, taking resident orders, and serving meals and desserts; Returning cart to the kitchen and assisting with storage of perishable items; Bussing and clearing dishes from tables after meals and resetting for the next meal; Completing side work; Performing other duties as needed and/or assigned

Requirements

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills; Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents; General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices; Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time); Strong organization and time management skills; Basic computer skills
