A growing professional services firm is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support its HR team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Overview

The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with the HR team, this role helps ensure a seamless employee experience while contributing to key HR initiatives and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS data; Support recruiting and onboarding, including job postings, interview scheduling, background checks, offer letters, and new hire orientation; Assist with payroll, benefits, leave administration, and performance review documentation; Coordinate HR meetings, training sessions, and employee communications; Track compliance training, acknowledgments, and required employment documentation; Support I-9 and E-Verify processes; Edit and maintain HR policies, procedures, forms, and internal resources; Assist with special projects and other HR initiatives as needed

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment; PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred; Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (ADP experience preferred); Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills; Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
