Human Resources Management Development Associate

As a Human Resources Management Development Associate at Nestlé Purina, we’ll coach you from the start, shaping your career trajectory for continuous learning and growth. Together, we’ll explore quality assurance, safety, supply chain, engineering, production, R&D engineering, information systems and operations performance to understand the collaborative nature of human resource management. You'll also gain experience in developing and maintaining employee relations, training, compensation and benefits. It's a full-time position that fast-tracks you to management on the manufacturing side of our business. The rotational component provides a change in location which offers fresh perspectives and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Maintain communication with the Plant Manager, Department Managers and Team Leaders on all matters relating to and affecting factory employees; Assist with the implementation of employee services, policies, training and programs; Support training and learning for safety, capital projects, special projects, technical and function training; Coordinate employees’ leave, return to work (FMLA, worker’s comp, etc.), paid time off and benefits; Adhere to and enforce compliance of local, state and federal legislation in relation to HR policies; Serve as a resource to all factory employees, providing exceptional customer service

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline attained or expected by June 2027; Must be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA program; You will start your rotation for this Human Resources MDA at the Nestlé Purina factory in Crete, Nebraska; This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Nice to have

Prior internship, co-op, practicum or manufacturing experience preferred; Involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience preferred
