Implementation Director, Federal

As an Implementation Director, Federal at Abridge, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and implementation of Abridge products and services within our Federal program. You will be the primary point of contact for our Implementation workstream and the driving force behind seamless project execution. You will work closely with the Abridge Federal program team, internal, and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time, while exceeding the needs and expectations of our clinicians. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the New York City office, with flexibility for remote work on other days. Approximately 40% travel is expected for this position.

Responsibilities

Lead new site and product implementations and large scale expansion events; Serve as the primary point of contact for Abridge's Federal counterparts during initial deployment and ongoing product implementation deployments; Own the creation, coordination, and execution of project plans in collaboration with internal and external cross-functional teams; Accountable for leading through each project phase, including kickoffs, technical configuration, testing, clinician training, go-live, and post-live success; Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed; Push goals forward with a focus on new site activations and ongoing feature and product adoption, developing the implementation strategy and executing critical work efforts; Collaborate within the broader company and the Federal program team to identify and implement process and tool improvements; Participate in creating repeatable processes that scale to build a thriving Federal program team and function

Requirements

Track record of driving successful healthcare technology implementation projects from initiation to completion; Experience in both new site implementation and ongoing implementation efforts with a focus on product implementation and product adoption; Exceptional strategist as well as executor, able to own implementation methodology and execution, as a direct contributor and by managing scaled teams; Extremely organized, seeks continuous process improvement, and can manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and quality in a high-speed, results-driven environment; Builds strong relationships with various stakeholders to ensure long-lasting partnerships; Uses data to inform decisions and identify early indicators of issues; Escalates issues early with proposed solutions, and is creative, scrappy, and strong in problem solving, tactful conflict resolution, and bias to action; 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on software deployment and implementation

Nice to have

Experience implementing within the Federal ecosystem, with collaboration with the VA a significant plus; Familiarity with systems requiring strict adherence to privacy and security protocols; Knowledge of tiered support organizations and escalation protocols
