Industrial Designer

Responsibilities

Responsible for the design, creation, and development of new products, in lighting and home décor categories; Participate in brainstorm sessions for product launches; Develop designs from multiple conceptual sources; Develop innovative concepts based on brand attributes; Collaborate with mechanical/electrical engineers and manufacturers; Participate in product review meetings and presentations with staff at all levels; Travel as necessary to meet project needs and attend industry-related events.

Requirements

3 to 7 years of professional experience in industrial, product, or home décor design; Proficiency in translating concepts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and KeyShot; Strong foundational knowledge of raw materials and manufacturing processes, such as metalworking and casting; A Bachelor's degree (BS/BFA) in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a closely related field.
