Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! This is a skilled position working to install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment. The Richmond, IN plant produces high volumes of quality blowing wool insulation for contractors and retail customers. Hours are 5am-5pm or 5pm-5am.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment; Service and troubleshoot belt conveyors; Service and troubleshoot chain drives and components; Set and align motors; Set and troubleshoot centrifugal pumps; Perform all electrical maintenance on equipment to maximize productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards; Work under the general supervision of the shift supervisor

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Previous experience with similar equipment; UAW or AFL/CIO journeyman card or equivalent; Must be able to read and understand written instructions, policies and procedures; Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions and operate a calculator; Must be able to read a tape measure; Must be able to read temperature and pressure gauges; Willingness to learn new technology and equipment operation; Physically able to perform essential job functions; Must be respirator ready; Able to provide professional tools (supplemented by company) in order to perform job duties; Willingness to improve technical skills through continuing education, on-site training, and other opportunities as provided
