Instrumentation & Calibration Engineer

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting all PPM and reactive calibration, maintenance and fault finding on site instrumentation & control systems; Calibration temperature, humidity, pressure, flow & speed instrumentation; Use of Maximo CMMS systems; Dealing with HVAC, reactor systems, stability chambers, utilities & cold rooms; Maintain calibration equipment, make sure certification is current & traceable

Requirements

Experienced within instrumentation, calibration or controls; Previously have worked in manufacturing, utilities, chemicals, water or oil & gas; Worked on BMS systems, HVAC, reactor systems, stability chambers, cold rooms; Level 3 qualified or higher in engineering; Must be able to do instrumentation calibration – temperature, flow, speed & humidity; Good computer skills – use of CMMS systems

Nice to have

Apprenticeship trained; Ideally have worked to ATEX, GMP standards; Experienced with water systems, sensors, flowmeters, gas analysers; Knowledge of control systems & PLC programming
