This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.

Responsibilities

Support Manufacturing IT application management and daily KLCOE operations; Assist in the AI development, testing, and maintenance of HDD manufacturing software applications using Python.; Contribute to transformation, simplification, and modernization initiatives; Provide insights on emerging technologies and adoption opportunities; Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and system effectiveness; Software deployment and evaluation of users’ feedback.; Work in a team with minimum supervision on a tight project deadline.

Requirements

Currently pursuing BSc (Hons) in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent); Good knowledge in C#.NET, VB.NET, LINQ , Python and Winsurf; Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.; Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.; Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.; Good knowledge of MS SQL Server; Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written/ verbal).; Strong listening, communication, interpersonal and relational skills to develop a good relationship within the organization; Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to have

Interested in manufacturing-related environment; Knowledge of other programming languages or frameworks; Good in preparing test cases and executing test plan; Ability to document requirements and specifications; Possess full-stack development skills
