Interventional Radiology Technologist - Full Time Day shift Sign On Bonus

The Interventional Lab Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures utilizing digital imaging. Department: Interventional Procedures Lab includes Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology. Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. On-call requirement: approximately 9-10 call shifts per month, with weekend call every third weekend.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures utilizing digital imaging; Under general physician supervision, functions in scrub and circulating roles; Performs image reconstruction/processing; Assists with Interventional Lab patient preparation, transportation, and recovery as necessary; Provides call coverage as scheduled

Requirements

One year of Interventional Labs (Cath lab or IR lab), or Critical Care experience; Knowledge of anatomy and physiology; Graduate of accredited radiology school-RT (R); LIC IDNS; REG ARRT; CERT BLS #LI-SM1; Must live within 30 minutes of the Huntley Hospital

Nice to have

RCIS certifications; Prior experience using EPIC EMR; Previous experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory; Previous experience in Interventional Radiology; Previous experience in Electrophysiology; Invasive hemodynamic monitoring experience; Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, electrophysiology, and vascular interventions
