Inventory Control Coordinator, 2nd Shift

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing materials within the ERP system, overseeing finished goods inventories, and conducting annual physical inventories. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth production operations by providing timely access to necessary materials and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment and is proficient with MRP systems. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Inventory Transaction Management: Transacting inventory movement for multiple projects, ensuring proper documentation, managing WMS/ERP transactions, identifying discrepancies and performing root cause analysis; Inventory Control and Accuracy: Conducting cycle counts, performing monthly cycle counts, ensuring adequate inventory, double-checking Bill of Materials for projects; Production Floor Support: Running parts to production floor, issuing parts to jobs, kitting jobs, unboxing and grouping materials, pulling sheet metal for CNC operators; ERP System Management: Using ERP system to accurately track materials; Inventory Planning and Management: Assisting in planning full inventory annually, managing and disposing of surplus materials and scrap; Warehouse Assistance: Providing assistance to warehouse including receiving, unloading trucks, cleaning, and picking up lot

Requirements

3-5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment; Proficient with MRP systems; Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling materials; Safety-sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol program participation

Nice to have

Forklift experience; Experience with an MRP system
