Inventory Planning Coord IV

Responsible for routine and non-routine duties requiring specialty knowledge of supply chain and requirements for assigned pars. Works directly with department coworkers and contacts outside the department to sets priorities. Utilizes problem solving skills to receive, review, respond to, record and fill supply orders. Reviews and approves received orders.

Responsibilities

Responsible for routine and non-routine duties requiring specialty knowledge of supply chain and requirements for assigned pars; Works directly with department coworkers and contacts outside the department to set priorities; Utilizes problem solving skills to receive, review, respond to, record and fill supply orders; Reviews and approves received orders; Reviews, responds to, records, and fills supply orders according to current policies and procedures; Monitors and maintains all systems for assigned surgical and medical procedure supply and implant requirements; Determines and maintains optimal inventory levels; Verifies accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and resolves invoice discrepancies; Manages and resolves recall notifications and audits inventory for accuracy; Recommends cost reduction opportunities and executes monthly journal entries for supplies issued; Establishes and documents procedures to support Supply Chain activities; Participates in Supply Chain projects and ongoing education; Serves as preceptor in onboarding of newly hired staff

Requirements

Associate's degree and 5 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in Supply Chain required; Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
