Investment Banking Associate

We are partnering with a leading US bulge bracket investment bank that is actively seeking highly motivated Associates to join its TMT (Technology, Media & Telecommunications) and Generalist M&A teams. This is a high-impact, client-facing role offering immediate exposure to sell-side and buy-side M&A, capital raising, strategic advisory, and private equity transactions across a range of dynamic sectors. You will gain direct exposure to C-level executives and private equity sponsors on high-profile transactions. Associates will work closely with senior bankers to execute live transactions across high-growth verticals. Whether focused on TMT (Software, SaaS, Fintech) or Generalist coverage (Healthcare, Industrials, Consumer), you will be responsible for the technical backbone of the deal. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of three-statement modeling, LBOs, and merger consequences, combined with the ability to manage complex due diligence workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Executing live M&A and capital raising transactions across TMT and Generalist sectors; Building and maintaining complex financial models (DCF, LBO, three-statement, and merger models); Conducting detailed industry, market, and company research to support deal execution; Preparing high-quality pitch books, management presentations, and client-ready materials; Supporting due diligence processes and managing data rooms; Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including legal and accounting teams; Engaging with senior stakeholders and contributing directly to client meetings

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or a relevant advisory role; Bachelor's degree from a top-tier academic institution; Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation (LBO, DCF, Comps); Demonstrated interest or experience in TMT (SaaS, Digital Media, Fintech) or broader sectors (Healthcare, Consumer, Industrials); Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple deal workstreams; Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong team-driven mindset
