iOS SDK Engineer (Mid/Senior)

You'll contribute to the refinement, packaging, and optimization of Verve's iOS HyBid SDK ecosystem, implementing strategic features, optimizing core networking and ad-rendering modules, and verifying stability across our deployment pipeline. This is SDK and framework work, with the strict memory and thread-safety constraints that come with running inside third-party applications. We're hiring across two levels on the same team: Level II (Engineer II) and Level III (Senior).

Responsibilities

SDK Core Development & Architecture: Develop, refine, and maintain the core functional modules of the iOS HyBid SDK, and at the senior level, architect and lead the evolution of the framework; Product Collaboration: Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to estimate feature effort, refine technical requirements, and prioritize delivery; Cross-Platform Parity: Work alongside the Android team, reading and navigating the Kotlin/Java codebase to cross-reference logic and guarantee behavioral consistency; Team Collaboration, Compliance & Leadership: Engage in day-to-day agile cycles, addressing bugs, reviewing peer code changes, and maintaining implementation documents; Migration & Packaging: Build and validate framework bundles for Swift Package Manager (SPM) distribution alongside current legacy channels; Embedded Telemetry: Develop and test isolated tracking submodules that securely log local runtime faults and structure exception-data delivery; Mediation & Rendering: Build, polish, and optimize ad-rendering modules and monetization adapters; Automation Frameworks: Maintain configuration workflows under GitHub Actions, write unit and integration tests, and validate execution on cloud-hosted test environments

Requirements

Solid operational capability across Swift and Objective-C, with a clear understanding of ARC rules, multi-threaded profiling (Instruments), and asynchronous protocol layers; A clear understanding of the unique constraints of building an SDK and delivering robust SDKs into varying host environments, not just standard app development; Comfort navigating and reading fundamental Android (Kotlin/Java) patterns to perform comparative logic tracking when troubleshooting feature parity; Familiarity with GCP / Google Cloud environments, and a pragmatic, safe approach to leveraging modern AI development tools (e.g., Copilot, LLMs) to boost productivity, accelerate debugging, and maintain high code quality; Level II: 3+ years of professional iOS application engineering, with hands-on exposure to framework development, module creation, or large-scale shared developer utilities distributed to external clients; Ability to independently translate predefined designs and structured agile tickets into clean, test-backed, and reliable software components; Level III: 6+ years of specialized iOS software development, with a verified history of deploying, optimizing, and scaling static and dynamic binaries (.framework and .xcframework outputs) consumed by third-party applications; Proven background initiating and managing architectural refactoring, framework transitions, and foundational technical-debt reduction projects independently; Master-level proficiency bridging modern Swift with large-scale legacy Objective-C, with an expert grasp of iOS runtime mechanics, memory management (ARC), and Grand Central Dispatch (GCD)
