Java/Python Software Developer - Risk

We're working with a leading global financial organisation looking to hire an experienced Backend Engineer to join a high-performing technology team focused on risk platforms. Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java and/or Python; Build distributed services that support risk data processing and analytics; Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions; Optimise system performance, reliability and scalability across enterprise platforms.

Requirements

Strong commercial experience with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python; Experience building distributed systems or microservices within enterprise environments; Exposure to risk technology, risk data, or risk analytics within financial services; Solid understanding of system design, data processing and modern software engineering practices.
