Jr. WordPress Developer

Developer Bazaar Technologies is looking for a Jr. WordPress Developer to join our growing development team in Indore. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in WordPress development who can build, customize, maintain, and optimize responsive websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress, Elementor, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, along with a problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update WordPress websites; Create responsive and user-friendly web pages using Elementor; Customize WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and layouts; Work with Elementor Global Widgets and reusable website components; Implement website design and functionality based on requirements; Optimize websites for performance, speed, responsiveness, and user experience; Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related bugs and technical issues; Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices; Perform regular website updates, maintenance, and content changes; Collaborate with designers, developers, SEO, and content teams when required.

Requirements

6 months to 2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development; Good understanding of WordPress CMS; Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS; Basic to good understanding of JavaScript; Hands-on experience with Elementor or other WordPress page builders; Understanding of Elementor Global Widgets and reusable components; Basic understanding of responsive web development; Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugins; Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently as well as in a team; Good attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL; Experience with WordPress website optimization and speed improvements; Basic understanding of SEO-friendly website development; Familiarity with Git or version control; Experience working on live/client websites.
