Junior Accountant, Shared Accounting Services

As a Junior Accountant within our Global Shared Accounting Services team, you will own critical day-to-day general ledger operations, balance sheet integrity, and month-end close execution across our global entities (EMEA, APAC, AMERICAS). Reporting directly to a Senior/Lead Accountant, you will operate in a high-velocity environment, ensuring compliance with local/global accounting standards and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Execute journal entries, period-end accruals, prepaid expenses, and cash allocations for multi-currency global entities; Own high-volume account reconciliations (Cash, Accruals, Other Current Receivables/Payables), ensuring variances are investigated and resolved within month-end close deadlines; Partner with Procurement, AP, and AR operations to resolve ledger mismatches and ensure strict cut-off accuracy; Prepare audit schedules and provide clean, well-documented evidence for regional external audit requests; Identify bottlenecks in the close process and actively participate in NetSuite optimization and workflow automation projects

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 1-3 years of professional accounting experience, ideally within a multinational corporate environment; Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles (Debits/Credits, Expense Recognition, Matching Principle); Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills to hit strict deadlines, and professional fluency in English (written and spoken); Advanced Excel skills

Master's degree or progress toward accounting certification; NetSuite or similar tier-1 ERP experience
