Responsibilities

Collaborating with business users to define new application requirements.; Developing, testing and maintaining clean, performant code for client applications.; Supporting project delivery alongside Project Managers and Senior Engineers.; Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver solutions on time and on budget.; Analysing large-scale time-series data and generating actionable reports.; Mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on kdb+ development experience.; Solid understanding of q language and time-series data structures.; Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.; Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.; Familiarity with software development methodologies and the SDLC.; Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.; Excellent client-facing communication skills.; Experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking is advantageous

Nice to have

Experience with AI tooling (Claude, Co-Pilot); Knowledge of Python, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), or other time-series databases.; Exposure to project leadership or people management.
