Kitchen Assistant - Flexi Job/Student

We are looking for an energetic and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our Kitchen Department on a flexible basis. This role supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cleanliness, organization, and day-to-day kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute positively to the team.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient handling.; Support chefs and kitchen staff during meal preparation and service.; Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.; Ensure kitchen areas remain clean and organized at all times.; Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock and ingredients.; Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.; Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness standards.; Support the team with additional kitchen-related tasks as required.

Requirements

Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage.; Good teamwork and communication skills.; Flexible availability, including mornings,evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.; Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.; Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads.; Reliability and punctuality; Ability to follow instructions; Good organizational skills; Positive and proactive mindset
