Kitchen Helper/Driver

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation Support

Cleaning and Sanitation

- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, floors, storage areas, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures.

Stock Handling

- Receive and store food supplies and deliveries.
- Organize storage areas and maintain cleanliness.
- Report shortages, damages, or expired products to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory checks when required.

General Support

- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Work cooperatively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Responsibilities

Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as directed.; Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking and food service.; Portion and arrange food items when required.; Support chefs during meal preparation and service.; Have to drive the food truck to the back of house to collect all food item to bring to front of house to the main kitchen

Requirements

Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.; Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.; Good communication and interpersonal skills.; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.; Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.; Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.; Food Handlers is mandatory; Driving Licence Mandatory
