Kitchen Porter/General Assistant

Kitchen Porter /General assistant required for our busy on site kitchen and restaurant. We are looking for a flexible, reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, individual with great organizational skills to help keep the kitchen and restaurant running smoothly in busy times, to join our team.

Responsibilities

Helping keep the kitchen and restaurant running smoothly in busy times; washing up pans, dishes, kitchen equipment both by hand and using a dishwasher; letting deliveries in, putting them away and rotating stock as required; general kitchen duties including basic prep and helping the chefs when and if required; maintaining hygiene and food safety standards

Requirements

Flexible; reliable; trustworthy; hardworking; great organizational skills; happy to learn new areas of the business which could include serving on the counter and using a till; flexible to cover a Friday in the event of holidays or sickness if required; security clearance check required

Nice to have

Some knowledge of working in a catering establishment
