Lab Technician (1 year FTC)

This is a 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) position based at our Galaxis office in Singapore and requires onsite attendance five days per week. As a Laboratory Technician, you’ll be the backbone of our lab operations—ensuring equipment is calibrated, tests are executed flawlessly, and compliance is always top-notch. Your responsibilities will span across Equipment Management, Laboratory Operations, Contractor Administration, and Team Collaboration.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate calibration and maintenance with minimal lab disruption; Maintain accurate records and ensure all equipment meets safety and regulatory standards; Keep the lab organized and inventory in optimal condition; Support lab amenity upkeep and test bench readiness; Prepare for audit activities; Manage procurement of lab supplies and chemical database updates; Track and manage short-term contractor schedules and onboarding; Ensure training records and timesheets are accurate and up to date; Liaise with hiring agencies for contractor recruitment; Assist Technical Officers and Engineers in routine testing; Prepare jigs and samples and document results with precision; Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Requirements

Experience in laboratory operations or technical support roles; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Familiarity with regulatory and quality systems (ISO, GMP, etc.); Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment; Proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving
