Label Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

This role will be on 2nd Shift, 2PM-10:30PM M-F.; The hourly rate for this position is $17.79 - $23.72 / hour.; What You’ll Do; Operate & Maintain: Set up, calibrate, and run label machines according to daily job schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain and handle dies carefully to ensure continuous line performance.; Troubleshoot & Improve: Monitor equipment for accuracy and quality. Identify root causes of malfunctions and partner with supervisors to resolve production issues.; Inventory & Systems: Log raw materials accurately in the ERP system using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods to minimize waste and track quality control.; Safety & Workplace: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation. Strictly follow all plant safety rules, policies, and required PPE guidelines.; Team Collaboration: Assist with distribution tasks and support team members across shifts when needed.

Requirements

What You Bring; Experience: 1–2 years of experience in machine operation, manufacturing, or mechanical equipment setup.; Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills with a drive to understand equipment operation.; Attention to Detail: Ability to distinguish colors, read fine measurements, and perform visual quality checks at close range (20 inches or less).; Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing most of the shift, reaching, and safely lifting up to 50 lbs.; Education: High School Diploma or GED.
