Labourer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Labourer to join our team to support the Mitchell Freeway Concrete Barriers Upgrade. This will include the removal of existing barriers and replacement with new concrete barriers on the Mitchell Freeway between Ocean Reef Road and Hester Avenue. Work scope includes associated pavement works, services protection, and required significant rail safety management. As a Labourer, you will be reporting to the Civil Supervisor, and you will be responsible for general site labouring duties, assisting with construction activities, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

General site labouring duties; Assisting with construction activities; Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment; Assisting with general civil construction and roadworks; Loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment; Preparing and maintaining work sites, including site clean-up and housekeeping; Performing manual handling tasks using hand and power tools; Following site safety procedures, and participating in daily pre-start meetings; Carrying out other labouring duties as directed by supervisors

Requirements

White Card; Valid Australian driver's license; MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights; Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
