Lead - Solution Engineer(Dutch/Swedish speaking)

Freshworks is looking for a self-motivated Lead Solutions Engineer to complement the Pre-Sales team. The role is the technical expert helping the sales team with new business opportunities and consulting or selling to the most strategic prospects and accounts. Lead Solutions Engineers articulate the value proposition, architect technology solutions and offer thought leadership to business and technical audiences. The role is ideal for someone with mid-market software pre-sales experience in a SaaS or technology product organization, and experience with customer engagement/support, ITSM/ITIL and cloud-based infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Work with regional sales teams to convert prospects to customers; Prepare and deliver bespoke technical product demonstrations at client meetings, webinars and customer events; Deliver product messaging highlighting the Freshworks value proposition through whiteboard and slide presentations, proof of concept management and RFP response documents; Respond to functional and technical customer questions and requirements, and perform complex workflow analysis and in-depth examinations of the interaction between Freshworks and the customer's infrastructure; Collect, assess and convey customer requirements to central product management; Advocate for the brand and promote product solutions and services to prospects, potential and existing customers, and partners; Collaborate with internal organizations (sales, product management, client services) to execute sales strategy; Train sales teams on the Freshworks product suite, technical aspects and new product features

Requirements

Native level written and oral communication skills in Dutch or Swedish; 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar technical solution engineering role, preferably in ITIL/ITSM or SaaS/software product environments; Experience in a SaaS or technology product organization with ITSM/ITIL methodologies and cloud-based infrastructure; Excellent senior customer stakeholder (incl. CxOs) and internal communication skills; Experience working on complex sales cycles in Mid-Market and Enterprise business segments; Excellent communication and listening skills, high-level presentation and demonstration skills, enthusiasm for helping and serving clients, strongly customer and solution oriented; Highly driven, with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency; Enjoys working in a high-energy team environment
