Legal Conflicts Researcher-Full Time, Remote

JOB SUMMARY

Accufile is seeking is seeking an experienced, full-time, remote Conflicts Researcher to support our law firm client conflict’s group. This is a remote role with East Coast Hours.

Responsibilities

Responsible for processing conflict searches of daily new client requests in a timely manner using resources such as Lexis+, Dun & Bradstreets, Bloomberg, Courthouse News Services and Artificial Intelligence tools.; Communicate with administrative staff regarding conflicts check results, advise on actual or potential conflicts. Track status of outstanding or on-going requests.; Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete under time constraints.

Requirements

1-2 years’ experience with automated conflict checking systems and/or corporate research in a law firm environment preferred,; Must have knowledge of corporate research, due diligence, and compliance issues; Strong working knowledge of legal research platforms, business information databases, and research methodologies; Familiarity with AI‑powered research tools and analytics platforms, and the ability to integrate emerging technologies into research workflows; Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present research findings clearly and collaborate effectively with attorneys and business professionals; Highly organized, with strong time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously; MLIS preferred. A combination of education in a research-intensive field with relevant work experience may be considered.
