Legal Engineer - In-House

Legora is an AI-native workspace for legal professionals. This role is part legal ops, part product specialist, part solutions architect, and part client whisperer. Mission: help clients, some of the most sophisticated in-house legal teams in the world, get the absolute most out of the platform.

Responsibilities

Acting as a thought partner to General Counsels, Legal Operations leaders, and in-house teams; Working with Go To Market and Customer Success to take full ownership of client relationships, from running pilots to onboarding and guiding department-wide adoption; Being the voice of in-house users inside Legora, sharing insights that inform product development and roadmap; Delivering clear, confident product demos and training; Documenting best practices from leading legal departments and contributing to scalable playbooks; Helping in-house teams navigate AI transformation, from evaluating ROI and efficiency gains to mapping AI impact on legal functions

Requirements

Background in law, with experience in an in-house legal team or corporate legal department; Tech-curious and product-savvy, passionate about navigating technical conversations around generative AI, technology implementation, innovation and productivity; Communicate clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders; Bring structure to ambiguity and energy to complexity; Understand how to evaluate and improve existing processes as a result of emerging technologies; Proactive, self-directed, comfortable juggling multiple client relationships; Care deeply about quality but don't get stuck in perfectionism; Understand commercial realities of in-house life: doing more with limited resources, demonstrating value, balancing risk and commercial objectives, being a strategic partner
