Legal Engineer, Law Firms

This role is part legal ops, part product specialist, part solutions architect, and part client whisperer. Mission: help clients, some of the most prestigious law firms in the world, get the absolute most out of our platform.

Responsibilities

Acting as a thought partner to law firm partners, associates, and innovation teams - building trusted relationships, addressing tricky pain points, and identifying high-value opportunities to scale use of Legora; Working with Go To Market and Engagement to take full ownership of firm relationships - from running pilots with key practice areas, onboarding new associates and partners, to guiding full-firm adoption across global law firms; Being the voice of law firm users inside Legora - sharing insights from M&A teams, litigation departments, and other practice groups to inform product development and roadmap priorities; Delivering clear, confident product demos and training, presenting to a single practice group or rolling out firm-wide; Documenting best practices from leading firms, contributing to scalable playbooks, and helping shape how this function grows globally; Confidently helping law firms navigate AI-driven shifts in legal services - evaluating ROI and competitive advantage, mapping AI impact across practice areas from corporate to disputes

Requirements

Background in law with experience at a top-tier law firm; Tech-curious and product-savvy, passionate about technical conversations around generative AI, technology implementation, innovation and productivity; Communicate clearly and confidently with diverse stakeholders, from senior partners to graduate trainees, from lawyers to engineers; Bring structure to ambiguity and energy to complexity; able to be a calm, credible presence in a fast-moving environment; Understand how to evaluate and improve existing processes as a result of emerging technologies, including due diligence, contract review, or legal research; Proactive, self-directed, comfortable juggling multiple firm relationships at once; Care deeply about quality without getting stuck in perfectionism; Understand the commercial realities of law firm life: billing pressures, client expectations, competitive positioning, and the balance between innovation and risk management
