Licensed Clinical Social Worker- NY licensure

We are seeking a Master’s Level Behavioral Health Provider to provide GI focused behavioral services to our adult GI patients. Evidence based interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation strategies, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation (brain-gut connection, coping with chronic illness) and gut directed hypnotherapy. As a core member of the clinical team, you will have access to ongoing training and support from a GI-focused clinical team.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of care providers in a digital integrated healthcare environment; Utilizing evidenced-based clinical interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation strategies, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation, and gut directed hypnotherapy; Completing biopsychosocial assessments to design and implement relevant goals; Initiating and maintaining health records in electronic health record; Participating in professional training activities to maintain licensure; Participating in clinical coordination meetings; Contributing to company wide development of psychological best practices and feedback

Requirements

Must live within New York State and hold NY LCSW Licensure; LCSW Fully Licensed Only; Master's degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or other relevant field; Active License to practice therapy in good standing; 3+ Years relevant experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, teaching relaxation strategies that impact brain-gut connection, Motivational Interviewing; Ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with other care providers (e.g., MD, Nurse Practitioner, Health Coach, Registered Dietitian); Comfortable and competent with using common administrative technologies (e.g. Zoom, Slack, Office, Google Drive, or equivalent), charting electronically

Nice to have

Prior experience in GI Psychology and/or Health Psychology; experience with GI focused care; experience delivering on telehealth platforms
