Responsibilities

Enjoy the benefits of working alongside a compassionate staff,; Be part of a strong and supportive leadership team,; Explore opportunities for career growth, including our exclusive scholarship program.; Provides professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments; Monitors the medication and treatment cart, nurses' station, and medication room to ensure that expired medications are properly disposed of and narcotics are counted per policy and regulations; Supports the scheduler in the scheduling function; Makes daily round and audits, including shift report to ensure proper care, documentation, and order transcription to maintain high standards for this department.; Assigns duties to PCAs and takes an active role in supervising, educating, and helping them develop.

Requirements

Current LPN licensure in the State of Delaware.; General working knowledge of the aging services industry.; Proven supervisory and leadership skills.
