Male Personal Assistant / Care Assistant

Make a real difference while supporting a gentleman to live life to the fullest. We're looking for a male Personal Assistant/Care Assistant to provide friendly, reliable support to a middle-aged gentleman with his daily living needs. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to build a meaningful working relationship while helping him remain active and enjoy the activities he loves.

Responsibilities

Supporting with personal care, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and hydration; Assisting with mobility using a hoist; Accompanying him on outings and social activities, including trips to the Metro Centre, garden centres, concerts and occasionally supporting him at Sunderland AFC matches; Supporting him to remain active and enjoy the activities he loves; Meal Preparation; Personal Care; Social + Leisure activities; Support to remain independent

Requirements

Male; Full UK driving licence; Own personal car

Nice to have

Home care or care home experience; GCSE or equivalent; Good English communication skills; Patient; Compassionate; Enjoy engaging in shared interests such as football, music, computer games and dominoes
