Manager, Market Data Operations

Part of the broader Addepar Data organization, you will be the primary authority on the operational administration and integrity of market data. This is a transformative leadership mandate: we are looking for an architect to take full ownership of the role, build the team, and evolve our market data operations into a best-in-class function that supports $9T+ in platform assets.

Responsibilities

Design the roadmap for Market Data operations; Lead, train, and mentor a high-performing team; Upskill the team in complex licensing frameworks and data observability; Take end-to-end accountability for data access; Manage and audit user access to market data; Lead preparation and delivery of usage audits back to licensors; Oversee daily market data pipeline workflows; Perform internal verification checks to ensure data integrity; Maintain a Rights Management framework to monitor data implementation and usage; Define and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) through automated dashboards

Requirements

Minimum 10+ years in financial data operations with a proven track record of leading teams and building processes from the ground up; Comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments, benchmarks, and market data feeds, paired with a nuanced understanding of global licensing requirements; Expert knowledge of redistribution scenarios, competitor restrictions, and the legal implications of client data usage; Fluent in SQL and data analysis tools to monitor feeds and troubleshoot processing exceptions; Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of managing high-stakes audits and data validations
