Manager, Media Buying, Pakistan

Mindshare is a leading brand of WPP Media, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Manager Media Buying to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating media deals for the company’s local clients. You will be responsible for handling media vendors and facilitating clients throughout the buying process and additional duties as assigned. The role includes both independent and coordinated buying initiatives.

Responsibilities

Negotiating media deals for the company’s local clients; Handling media vendors and facilitating clients throughout the buying process; Constructing airing deals; Monitoring KPI clients; Keeping track of daily TV activities and ratings; Monitoring positions and droppages; Monitoring competition; Coordinating with other support functions; Preparing CPRP workings; Working with strategic units; Coordinating with channels to ensure placements and reduce droppages; Generating weekly droppage reports and taking up issues with channels.

Requirements

Must be a BBA / MBA from a reputable university of equivalent; Must have an experience of at least 2+ years in media buying experience; Superior time management and prioritization skills; Excellent communication skills; Strong analytical and number skills; A pro-active approach with excellent negotiation and communication skills; Media knowledge and understanding of systems.
