Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic | Up to $65/Hr & Weekends Off | Goose Creek

Christian Brothers Automotive is looking for energetic, upbeat technicians / mechanics with a positive attitude who seek out solutions to tough problems and have a strong passion for doing what's right for guests. The position is at an independently owned and operated Christian Brothers Automotive franchise location at 518 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445, USA. The local franchisee is the employer, and the role is at-will.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and fix vehicles for guests; Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles; Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections; Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively; Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization; Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns; Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Requirements

Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests; 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic; Excel at diagnostics, driveability and solving electrical problems; ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve; Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles; Meet or exceed hourly goals; Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes; Professional appearance and strong communication; A desire for long-term career development; Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds; Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head; Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair; Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand tools; Walk/stand for the majority of the workday; Drive manual transmission vehicles; Efficiently navigate a computer
