Material Controller

Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Material Controller, who will be based in our site Office.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, material requisitions, and delivery notes .; Ensure proper material identification, tagging, and traceability as per ADNOC and project requirements.; Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns, and stock balances .; Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, QA/QC, and construction teams for material availability and distribution.; Monitor material storage conditions and preservation requirements (coating, wrapping, shelf life, etc.).; Issue materials to construction teams based on approved material request forms (MRF) .; Conduct regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy.; Identify and report shortages, damages, or non-conforming materials .; Ensure compliance with ADNOC material control procedures and project specifications .; Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams for material delivery schedules.; Maintain material status reports, stock reports, and tracking logs .; Support project close-out and material reconciliation activities .

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering, or related field .; Minimum 5–8 years of experience in material control, warehouse, or logistics in Oil & Gas or EPC projects.; Experience working on ADNOC or major GCC Oil & Gas projects is preferred.; Strong knowledge of material management processes, inventory control, and warehouse operations .; Familiarity with construction materials including piping, mechanical, electrical, and civil materials .; Good understanding of material traceability and preservation requirements in Oil & Gas projects.; Strong coordination and organizational skills
