Mechanical Engineer-in-Training

Our Minneapolis Team is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training that will develop a diverse portfolio of mechanical engineering projects with a focus on the design, construction, and maintenance of complex mechanical systems. The successful candidate will utilize their experience to provide solutions to a diverse clientele that includes multinational industry leaders.

Responsibilities

Participate in preparing drawing packages including 3D modeling, detailed plans, and specifications; Analyze data and assist in developing engineering calculations for mechanical applications; Participate in preparing proposals, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents; Participate in preparing detailed engineering reports and provide written and oral updates regarding the progress and completion of engineering projects; Participate in the performance QA/QC reviews throughout the design development process for assigned projects as well as projects under development by others; Assist in field surveys as required throughout the project life cycle

Requirements

BS in Mechanical Engineering; 2+ years of experience in Mechanical and/or Industrial engineering design; Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software; Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail; Ability to collaborate with team members and clients in a multi-disciplined environment; Participation in drug and alcohol program adhering to DOT regulations
