Medical Education Coordinator-Internal Medicine

Under the direction of the Graduate Medical Education Director, maintains day to day administration of the ACGME residency training program and assists the Program Director with Graduate Medical Education activities including, recruiting, regulatory compliance and accreditation and management of financial resources. Functions as a liaison between the Program Director, Residents, GME Office, Faculty, Participating sites and other departments.

Requirements

3-5 years office administrative experience; Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database; Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; Be detail oriented; Able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality; Able to make decisions independently; Able to escalate issues as needed; Able to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously; May require travel between GME training sites

Nice to have

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree; Previous graduate medical education and/or prior healthcare services experience
