Medical Laboratory Technologist Supervisor

Perform advanced laboratory testing while supporting daily laboratory operations within a collaborative international healthcare environment supporting U.S. government personnel in Iraq. Working alongside physicians, pathologists, radiology personnel, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, this Medical Laboratory Supervisor role combines hands-on clinical laboratory practice with quality oversight, workflow coordination, and team support in a professionally managed healthcare setting. Responsibilities

Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing across hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and blood bank services; Collect, prepare, and process biological specimens while ensuring accuracy, quality control, and timely reporting of results; Support daily laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and laboratory workflow coordination; Collaborate closely with physicians, pathologists, radiology personnel, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support clinical decision-making and patient care; Maintain laboratory safety standards, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness within a multidisciplinary clinical environment

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field; MLS (ASCP) certification or MLS (ASCP) eligibility required with current BLS certification; 5+ years of recent Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician experience, including clinical practice within the last year; U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport; Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance and meet pre-deployment physical requirements
