Mercury Marine: Human Resources Intern - Manufacturing Operations

As part of the talented Human Resources Operations team, you will collaborate with a variety of people on projects and work that contributes to the success of the Manufacturing Operations teams. This role will provide an opportunity to gain practical experience and insights into HR Operations. You will receive a variety of experiences across multiple disciplines of Human Resources as well.

Responsibilities

Explore key areas of Human Resources by being exposed to work in recruiting, analytics, benefits, compensation, talent management, employee & labor relations, and learning & development; Complete a meaningful project and present your results to leadership; Support key processes by partnering with experienced HR leaders and propose and execute ideas for improvement; The HR intern performs various administrative tasks in support of the HR department; Organize, schedule, and execute employee engagement activities

Requirements

Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with a major in Human Resources or a similar field; Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits; Availability to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) during the months May through August of 2027 with the potential to continue part-time during the school year; Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality; Experience with Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Strong verbal and written communication skills; Skilled in effective research tactics with strong organization skills; Must convey a helpful and professional image to internal and external customers; Dependable, self-motivated and engaged learner
